The judges this year hail from across the world and represent a wide range of disciplines, backgrounds, identities, and aesthetic lineages, and are award-winning writers themselves. This award goes to an exceptional book-length work of any literary genre by an author of color and the recipient receives a fully funded artist residency at Civitella.
