Mitsui Fudosan America, Inc. has announced an exhibition of paintings by Katia Santibañez (DG 2011) in the Lobby Gallery of 527 Madison Avenue through November 21, 2022, produced in partnership with DC Moore Gallery. Located at 54th Street and Madison Avenue, the show is open to the public 9AM-5PM Monday through Friday.
Santibañez has been exploring the idea of repetitions and differences while observing forms existing within natural elements, such as trees, snails, leaves and roots. This passion leads her to address the concept of chaos: in politics, climate change and psychology. The result is an almost kaleidoscopic pattern that produces tranquil but vibrant abstract paintings that often hypnotize viewers.
