Three Civitellians have been awarded the 2020-2021 ROME Prize from the The American Academy in Rome. These highly competitive fellowships support advanced independent work and research in the arts and humanities. This year, Rome Prizes were awarded to twenty-two American and two Italian artists and scholars, including two recently awarded Fellows from our Music jury, Katherine Balch and William Dougherty, for Musical Composition, as well as soon-to-be Civitellian Jennifer Packer for Visual Arts.
