Dear Civitellians, Friends,
The Board of Directors of Civitella Ranieri regretfully announces that the balance of the 2020 season will be closed. As an international residency program, we are concerned about the global status of COVID-19. With so many nations represented in our population and with so many variations on the virus status world-wide, fluctuating quarantine requirements, etc., we feel it is in everyone’s best interest to be cautious and circumspect these days.
All our 2020 Fellows and Director’s Guests will be accommodated in the 2021-2023 seasons as schedules permit.
Please join us all in using this gift of time and space to reflect, work, study, to stay in touch, and connect virtually. I have often spoken of a ‘portable Civitella state of mind’ and I trust that is something we are all building and experiencing even at a physical distance from our beloved Castle.
We will miss our public programming, Romana’s great cooking, our residents, and you, our guests, alumni, and friends. Join us in looking forward to a healthy future.
