Advisory Council member Emily Jacir (CRF 2009) was interviewed for an article in Frieze entitled, “Space, Culture and Connection: Palestinian Artists on Acts of Resistance.”
“In terms of international solidarity, I see it as part of a much longer process that has been happening for decades and that many artists, in Palestine and internationally, have been working to build.” Dar Jacir was ransacked by the Israeli Army in May of this year, so Emily Jacir and her colleague Aline Khoury were recently at the Castle for an emergency residency.
