Ange Dakouo
Visual Arts, Mali
Born in 1990 in Abidjan, Ange Dakouo lives and works in Bamako. A graduate of the Conservatory of Arts in Bamako, he explores resilience, memory, and interdependence through his woven “gris-gris” inspired by West African protective traditions. A multidisciplinary artist, he uses newspaper, cardboard, cotton thread, and mixed techniques. Co-founder of the Tim’Arts collective, he has exhibited in Mali and internationally. His work weaves hope, connection, and solidarity in a world in constant change.
Ana Gallardo
Visual Arts, Argentina
Ana Gallardo was born in Argentina in 1958. Among her latest solo exhibitions are Tembló aquí un delirio (CA2M, Spain and MUAC, Mexico, 2024) and Bitácora Guatemalteca (Te busco en otro nombre) 1987-2023 (Museo de Arte Moderno, Bogotá, 2023) which received the Julius Baer Art Prize for Latin American Women Artists. Her work has been featured in group exhibitions including the 12th Mercosur Biennial (2020), 13th Havana Biennial (2019), 56th Venice Biennale (2015), and 29th São Paulo Biennial (2010). For several years she has been organizing independent spaces such as Imán Escuela and La Verdi in Mexico City.
Robin Walter
Writing, American Academy of Poets Affiliated Fellow, USA
Robin Walter was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She received a BA from Colorado College and an MFA from Colorado State University. Walter is the author of Little Mercy (Graywolf Press, 2025), which was selected by Victoria Chang as the winner of the 2024 Academy of American Poets First Book Award. Her poetry and essays have been featured in American Poetry Review, Poets.org, Seneca Review, West Branch, Wildness, and elsewhere. Walter is an Assistant Professor at Colorado State University and lives in Fort Collins, Colorado.
