Shara Nova (CRF 2017) and Kae Tempest (CRF 2017, DG 2022) are both slated to perform at Big Ears Festival in Knoxville, TN. The festival takes place the weekend of March 30 – April 2, 2023. Kae Tempest will perform on Saturday, April 1st; Shara Nova and Knoxville Symphony Orchestra will perform The Blue Hour, a song cycle by Rachel Grimes, Angélica Negrón (Incoming Music Fellow 2023), Shara Nova, Caroline Shaw, and Sarah Kirkland Snider, on Sunday, April 2nd.
