Claire Hynes

Claire Hynes writes fiction, non-fiction, essays, and theatre monologues. Her writing has appeared in Wasafiri journal of international contemporary writing, Bath Short Story Award Anthology, and Lighthouse literary journal, among other publications. Her theatre monologues have been performed at the Contact Theatre, Manchester. Claire has won an Arts Council England award, a Commonword monologue writing award and she has been listed for the Bath Short Story Award. Claire is an Associate Professor in Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia. She previously worked as an award-winning BBC filmmaker and a print journalist. Her writing explores questions of place, space, and belonging.
Karyn Olivier
Visual Arts, USA
Karyn Olivier creates sculptures, installations, and public art. In 2026, she will unveil a memorial at Bethel Burying Ground (Philadelphia). Last year, she was in the Whitney Biennial, La Trienal at El Museo del Barrio, the Malta Biennale, and Prospect New Orleans. She has exhibited at the Gwangju and Busan biennials and The Studio Museum in Harlem, with solo exhibitions at ICA (Philadelphia), Laumeier Sculpture Park (St. Louis), and Tanya Bonakdar (NY). Olivier has won a USA Fellowship, the Rome Prize, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and other honors. She is a professor at Tyler School of Art and Architecture.
