Conchitina Cruz

Conchitina Cruz is the author of Dark Hours (winner of the Philippine National Book Award for Poetry), elsewhere held and lingered, There is no emergency, and Modus. She is also the author of Partial Views: On the Essay as a Genre in Philippine Literary Production. She holds a PhD from State University of New York (SUNY) Albany and teaches creative writing and literature at the University of the Philippines in Diliman. She also produces and publishes zines and co-runs the Quezon City-based small press Paper Trail Projects.
Zeina G. Halabi
Writing, Lebanon
Zeina G. Halabi is a writer, editor, and scholar of modern Arabic literature. Her research explores the contemporary legacy of 20th-century emancipatory traditions, texts, and figures, with a regional focus on Egypt and the Levant. She is the author of The Unmaking of the Arab Intellectual (2017) and essays and translations on topics ranging from literature to contemporary music and visual culture. She is currently Research Associate at the Orient-Institut in Beirut and the Arabic Editor of Rusted Radishes: Beirut Literary and Art Journal.
