Angèle Etoundi Essamba’s (CRF 2022) first retrospective exhibition in Italy, “DONNE DETERMINATE,” is currently on view until October 6th, 2024 at Museo di Roma in Trastevere. The exhibition features 42 black/white and colors photographs, retracing important cycles of Essamba’s work from 1985 to recent years, which will provide the viewer with an almost complete reading of her creative journey.
Coming soon is “REGARD DE FEMMES” at Dar el Bachar Musée des Confluences in Marrakech. The show will be open from October 23 through November 30, 2024, and the artist will be in attendance at the opening on October 23rd at 4PM. As part of Les Rencontres Photographiques de Marrakech 2024, this first solo exhibition in Morocco will feature 40 photographs from Essamba’s series Unveilings.
