Daniel Canogar (CRF 2015) has a new commission “Surge” in the lobby of the Moss Arts Center at Virginia Tech, VA. “Surge” responds in real time to different data streams, including the Moss Arts Center’s internet traffic, the building’s energy consumption and local weather conditions. The generative animations visible on the four screens behave like one continuous ribbon that repeatedly emerges and disappears throughout the lobby.

Daniel also has an upcoming show called “Memorias Líquidas,” opening September 11th at 7pm at Sala Kubo-kutxa  in San Sebastian.

Daniel has a video scenography called “Monsieur Goya, una indagación” opening at Teatro Fernán Gómez on September 19th in Madrid.
