Ange Dakouo
Born in 1990 in Abidjan, Ange Dakouo lives and works in Bamako. A graduate of the Conservatory of Arts in Bamako, he explores resilience, memory, and interdependence through his woven “gris-gris” inspired by West African protective traditions. A multidisciplinary artist, he uses newspaper, cardboard, cotton thread, and mixed techniques. Co-founder of the Tim’Arts collective, he has exhibited in Mali and internationally. His work weaves hope, connection, and solidarity in a world in constant change.
