During my residency at Civitella, I completed the editing and mixing of “Botanic Environments,” an album-length work for piano and electronics in collaboration with pianist Ning Yu that will be released on Carrier Records in both digital and vinyl formats later this year. I initiated development of “Fathoming,” a multi-media performance project in collaboration with movement artist Erin Landers, scheduled to premiere in Fall 2026. My daily creative practice involved taking field recording of the surrounding environments and Fellow Fellows, which provided source material for several shorter electroacoustic compositions that will be integrated into my live performance repertoire. This residency provided essential time for both reflection and exploration of new creative directions; this space, and the people who make it as warm and welcoming as it is, will leave a lasting mark.
