Helen C. Evarts
Helen C. Evarts (Honorary Trustee) of New York, New York was a docent for high school and adult groups at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for 20 years. Mrs. Evarts was a member of the history faculty at the Nightingale-Bamford School for 16 years and was the Assistant to the Dean of the School of General Studies at Columbia University. Mrs. Evarts has been a board member of the Vidda Foundation, Columbia University School of General Studies, Constitution Marsh-Audubon Society, Islands Community Medical Center and Aztec Land and Cattle Co. Mrs. Evarts received a B.A. degree in history from Columbia University and a M.A. degree in history from New York University. She was married to William M. Evarts, Jr. for 65 years and has three grown children. Helen is a founding board member of the Civitella Ranieri Foundation and served on the Board for 25 years, holding the position of Board Chair for many years.
