The life of an artist is often based on concentrated isolation. It has been a dream of mine for many years to live in an environment where I can combine concentrated work with an environment of stimulating contact with other artists, while living in the beautiful surroundings of a spectacular countryside, offering the enjoyments of hiking, biking, swimming and relaxing. This dream became reality at Civitella. I hope to be able to retain this feeling of paradise that I acquired at Civitella, which inspires me to seek this more in my daily life.
Completely unplanned, I discovered a field of art that I had not had any experience with before, that being combining experimental video with my own compositions. This came out of the exchange of ideas with the other artists, the visual artists and the architect as well as the composers and writers, all of whom inspired me to explore the possibilities of expression in this new way.
