Bird songs and rain. A barking dog from time to time. At night, a unique orchestra of noises by animals that I couldn’t decipher. My big window: trees, bushes, mountains, clouds. Flowers left on my desk every Saturday morning. Thinking in the morning, taking decisions in the afternoon. Trying out what I’ve written during the day, playing the piano sometimes even at 3:00 am. Free from disturbance and the mundane tasks. My constant conversation over a bottle of wine with the other Fellow residents. Learning, observing, absorbing. To encounter mental and physical calm, and be in a place where everything and everyone is so special and unique, naturally moves you to experience life differently and find more personal solutions to your own artistic needs.
