Time is wealth for an artist. As a mortal species, it is our most unreplenishable resource. As artists, it is what we try daily to alchemize into our work. Civitella deepened and lengthened my time on this planet. That’s a literal miracle, the kind of clouds-parting-angels-blaring-trumpets miracle that happens (if one is lucky!) only a handful of times a life. I leave Civitella astonished, galvanized, and better made.
