Lara Baladi
Lara Baladi is a Lebanese-Egyptian multimedia artist, archivist, writer, and educator. Driven by critical exploration of archives and popular visual culture, her work—exhibited and published globally—examines the intersection of myth and the cyclical nature of history. She served on the boards of the Arab Image Foundation and the Townhouse Gallery in Beirut and Cairo, lectured in MIT’s Program in Art, Culture, and Technology and currently serves on the Artistic Board of Malhoun in Marrakesh. She is an Associate Professor of Practice at the American University in Cairo’ s Department of Arts.
