Liliana Colanzi was born in Bolivia. She has published the short story collections You Glow in the Dark (New Directions, 2024), Our Dead World (Dalkey Archive Press, 2017), and Vacaciones permanentes (2010). She has received the Ribera del Duero Prize (Spain, 2022), the Narrativas a Escena Award (Spain, 2024), and the Aura Estrada Literary Award (Mexico, 2015). The Hay Festival Cartagena named her one of the best Latin American writers under 40 (Bogotá39, 2017). Her work has been translated into eight languages. She is the founder of the Bolivian publishing house Dum Dum Editora.
