When I was invited to come to Civitella I was very involved in photography and film. Here, instead, I decided to work on drawings and collages. They were constructed over pages of school paper that I had brought years ago from Argentina. I loved those note books, they are the same I used in elementary school in Buenos Aires. From the first day, the drawings appear, one after the other without effort. I produced a large series, it was almost like writing from memories. I was surprised and happy with the results. The setting was ideal, the landscape wonderful, and the company the best.  (And this includes Sparky and friends from the animal kingdom)
