Lisa Corinne Davis
Lisa Corinne Davis is a Brooklyn-based painter best known for paintings that explore the complex relationship between race, culture, classification and contingency. Her work has been exhibited across the United States and Europe. She is the recipient of awards including a Guggenheim Fellowship, The Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Grant, a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant, a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, and four fellowships from The New York Foundation for the Arts. She is currently Professor of Art at Hunter College in New York.
