I came to Civitella wanting to start on a new body of work and I wasn’t exactly sure what that would be. All I knew was that I wanted to work on something using plaster. Imagery involving flying demons caught my attention and I ended up making a swarm of demons that included flying insects and human-like creatures. I was happy to return to the demon imagery but with a lightness that differed from previous earth bound demonic creatures.
