My time at Civitella was invaluable. Having the time and space to create new work, surrounded by nature, while being fed healthy and delicious meals daily, was an artist’s dream come true. The friendships I made with the other Fellows were also so important for my creative experience–I really felt at peace and full of life here. Civitella is the perfect place for an artist to come and re-connect to their practice. I was able to find my ‘flow state’ again and make so much new work during my time here.
