Civitella allowed me to dig deeper and with renewed curiosity into my own work, inspired by the magical surroundings and the phenomenal artists and staff that I got to share this precious time with. It was the first time in a decade that I found the mind space and calm to sit with brand new ideas without the stress of normal life chasing me onto the next project constantly. Civitella is also unique in that it groups you with new friends that are generous, inspiring and experts in what they do. I can’t remember the last time I made 20-ish new dear friends in just 6 weeks. I miss everyone already and I will always treasure this pivotal experience. Going to Civitella is one of the best experiences I have had in a very long time.
