Before coming to Civitella I didn’t really have any trepidation about being productive. For the past twenty years or so I’ve been cursed with an overdose of “Ambition”. I also knew there would be an ample supply of peace and quiet as well as wonderful facilities. What really made my stay special was the incredibly fascinating group that was there. Both artists and staff were a joy to be around. The food was amazing and the conversation (although a little above my head) was always stimulating. It was inspiring to see such great work.
