Will Heinrich

Director's Guest ( 2026 ) Art Criticism USA

Will Heinrich was born in New York and spent his early childhood in Japan. His first novel, The King’s Evil, won a PEN/Robert Bingham Fellowship in 2004 and was recently reissued by Thousand Horsemen Press, which will also publish his short story collection From Darkness to Darkness this summer. He writes about art for The New York Timesand teaches at the New York Studio School.
