Advisory Council member Tania León (CRF 2003) speaks about the upheaval of migration and its effect on her as an artist and human being. As her reality suddenly and permanently shifted, she grieved, endured and found purpose in making music. Tania generously shares her perspective with us in solidarity as we await a time when we can heal and brave new paths forward.

She says, “I don’t think that the virus is a disruption. I feel that it is a moment of reckoning from individual to individual, having the realization that we are not so separate.”
