Last week Fred Hersch (DG 2013) was featured on Jazz on the Tube, the biggest annotated and indexed online collection of jazz videos in the world. Scott Yanow wrote: “At the Funchal Jazz Festival in Portugal in July 2016, Hersch performed a medley of ‘Some Other Time’ (the 1944 Jules Styne song, not the composition by Leonard Bernstein) and Thelonious Monk’s ‘We See’ with bassist John Hebert and drummer Eric McPherson.
