Hua Hsu is a staff writer at The New Yorker and the author of Stay True: A Memoir, which received the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Critics Circle Award, and A Floating Chinaman: Fantasy and Failure Across the Pacific. He teaches at Bard College and publishes a series of zines about music and life called Suspended in Time. He serves on the boards of the Asian American Writers’ Workshop and Critical Minded.
Aurora Masum-Javed

Aurora Masum-Javed is a poet and educator. A former public-school teacher, she holds an MFA from Cornell University. Her work can be found in various journals including Nimrod, Aster(ix), Winter Tangerine, and Frontier. She has received fellowships from MacDowell, Millay Arts, Caldera Arts, and Kundiman. A recent Philip Roth Resident and Hub City Writer in Residence, she is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at Macalester College in Minnesota, where she is working on her first collection of poems.
