Join us on Thursday, May 25th at 6:00 PM for Jules Gimbrone and Manuel Pessoa de Lima Presentations.

Jules Gimbrone, Fellow, Visual Arts, USA (he/they)
Jules Gimbrone is invested in reflecting how an illegible and contested subjectivity listens, discerns, and responds to the rigidity of quantitative measurement systems and demands a broadening of the solidified singular “real” self.  As both a visual artist and composer, Jules works in a third space to produce synesthetic, hybrid content. In his diverse research, Jules developed a rubric that they call Trans-Sensing. Trans-Sensing Modalities are methods that trans people intuitively cultivate to navigate the world.

Manuel Pessoa de Lima, Music, Brazil (he/him)
Manuel Pessoa de Lima (1981) is a performer-composer from Brazil, currently based in Berlin.
