Part of the Midnight Moment’s Fall Season, presented by Times Square Arts, Kambui Olujimi (CRF 2015)’s In Your Absence the Skies Are All the Same will run virtually from September 1st through the 30th, from 11:57pm to midnight each night. Kambui’s work consists of footage of skies from around the world fold into a slow-moving kaleidoscopic dusk each midnight, referencing a universal longing for human connection amidst distance and infinitely shifting possibilities. In Your Absence the Skies Are All the Same signals a sense of collective transformation and interdependence across time and place.
