Kayo Chingonyi (CRF 2021) has been shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot prize for his collection of poetry, “A Blood Condition.” The prize shortlist celebrates “ten books that sound clear and compelling voices of the moment.” The collection, Chingonyi’s second, is an exploration of memory, place, grief, and change.

While in residence at Civitella this summer, Kayo did a reading of poems from “A Blood Condition.” You can find a recording here: https://buff.ly/3FSDuCf
