Soon-to-be Civitella Fellow M’Barek Bouhchichi is showing “Variation within Repetition” at the Galleria Valentina Bonomo in Rome until February 15, 2019.
Bouhchichi bases his work on the exploration of the inner limits and the human capacity to venture into the elsewhere, beyond himself. His work, moving between the aesthetic and the social, highlights the strong link with tradition and history, as well as sensitivity to the issue of race.
