Michele Ciacciofera’s (CRF 2016) first solo show in a French museum, “Sans commencement et sans fin” (“No Beginning and No End”), will be on view at the Rochechouart Museum of Contemporary Art until September 13th, 2021. In this exhibition, Ciacciofera presents a compilation of more than a hundred works made over the last ten years. Some of the pieces are emblematic, reactivated specially for this occasion– in particular his impressive Janas Code installation, which was featured in the 57th Venice Biennale in 2017, will be on view. The works are displayed on all three floors of the castle and are accessed by a spiral staircase; visitors will embark on a winding journey that fuses organic and inorganic artifacts, mixing fragments with fossils, politics, writing, and archival records.
