Michele Glazer is the author of the books fretwork; On Tact, & the Made Up World; Aggregate of Disturbances (Iowa Poetry Prize); and It Is Hard to Look at What We Came to Think We’d Come to See (AWP Award). She has published poems in The New Yorker, Boston Review, and Lo-Ball, among others. Glazer is the founding director of the MFA Creative Writing program at Portland State University and has been a visiting professor at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and at the University of Montana as the Richard Hugo Chair in Poetry.
Tolu Oloruntoba, Writing, Nigeria/Canada (he/him)
Tolu Oloruntoba was born in Ibadan, Nigeria, where he also practiced medicine. He is the author of two books of poetry, The Junta of Happenstance (Palimpsest Press/Anstruther Books), which received the Canadian Griffin Poetry Prize and Governor General’s Literary Award, as well as Each One a Furnace (McClelland & Stewart/Penguin Random House Canada), which was a finalist for the Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize. His poetry takes existential and metaphysical approaches to questions of urbanity, mental health, and migration. His other work is in healthcare management. He lives on Coast Salish lands in Surrey, Western Canada.
