Ahead of an upcoming solo exhibition in 2026, Adam Basanta (CRF 2022) presents a number of current and upcoming exhibitions the summer of 2025.
“Sundial (Monument)” is on display at Victoria Park in downtown Kitchener, Ontario, Canada through July 26th courtesy of CAFKA (Contemporary Art Forum Kitchener + Area) and is generating lively discussion locally and online. Basanta writes, “Elaborating on past projects combining recycled material and monumental architectures such as ‘Arco (mmxxii)’, ‘Every Beloved Object,’ and ‘Construction I,’ ‘Sundial (Monument)’ reaches a new scale through the creation of a 3′ x 3′ x 12′ vertical monolith, designed with an internal support structure.”
Basanta returns to Electric Eclectics Festival in Meaford, Ontario where he will show “Persistent Teenage Gestures” from Aug 1st to 3rd.
Finally, “A Large Inscription” is currently on display at Klangraum Krems in Austria through September 14th. This follows its presentation at Hear Here Festival in Leuven, Belgium which received 21,000 visitors over 7 weeks.
