The world premiere of a new traditional opera with music by Franki Raden (CRF 2009), “GAYATRI,” will be featured at the 2021 Edfringe Festival, accessible online until August 30. Follow Princess Gayatri from the Singhasari Kingdom evolve and blossom as she strives to attain her youthful dream while pursuing the long-time legacy of her deceased father. The old Javanese narrative has been adapted from Mpu Prapanca’s ‘Nagarakertagama’ manuscript and co-directed by mhyajo and Bona Palma. Watch the trailer here.
