On view at Pace Gallery’s Hong Kong space through December 23rd, Natural Selection marks Nina Katchadourian’s (Incoming Visual Arts Fellow 2023) first exhibition with Pace in Asia.
In many projects spanning several decades, Katchadourian has considered the contradictory implications of the word “natural” and explored the relationships between human and non-human animals, sometimes intervening in ways she terms “uninvited collaborations with nature.” Through imaginative investigations of this kind, the artist proposes new ways of seeing and understanding our natural environment.
