Patricio Pron (DG 2014) wins the Premio Alfaguara, one of the most important prizes given for literature written in Spanish, for his book about love in the Tinder era.

“I was traveling with Patricio Pron in the Madrid metro, reading, when he observed several people slipping their finger to select or reject couples in Tinder. And he saw something that challenged him. “The ease with which they were discarding people and the shared conviction that they were all choosing when in fact they were only choosing from a menu created by an algorithm reminded me that many of my friends of my same age felt they were not doing standing in this new love order, “Pron tells EL PAÍS after being awarded the Alfaguara Prize for his novel Tomorrow we will have other names.”
