A retrospective exhibition of the work of Penny Siopis (CRF 1998), titled “Penny Siopis: For Dear Life: A Retrospective” and curated by Katerina Gregos, is up at the National Museum of Contemporary Art (EMST) in Athens, Greece through January 12, 2025. “Works of breathtaking breadth and depth explore violence, memory, and what the artist has called ‘the poetics of vulnerability’ in media ranging from oil paint and glue to ephemera and found film, spanning the intimate to the monumental.” Read more about the exhibition in Hyperallergic.
