Visual artist Sakshi Gupta (CRF 2011, Juror) has a solo exhibition, “If The Seas Catch Fire,” at the Experimenter gallery in Mumbai through October 26th.
The show features Gupta’s sculptures made from reclaimed industrial metal, rummaged concrete and stoneware. “Gupta’s practice centers the disconnect one experiences with oneself and the turmoil this creates,” the gallery writes, and her work emerges “from experiencing incessant cycles of numerous beginnings and ends occurring simultaneously.” Click here for the full press release.
