Sarah Matthes, (Writing, USA)
Sarah Matthes is a poet from central New Jersey. Her debut collection Town Crier (Persea, 2021) won the Lexi Rudnitsky First Book Prize. She has received support for her work from the Yiddish Book Center and the Academy of American Poets, and is the recipient of the 2019 Tor House Prize from the Robinson Jeffers Foundation. Her poetry has appeared in jubilat, the Iowa Review, BOAAT, Black Warrior Review, and elsewhere. A graduate of the Michener Center for Writers, she still lives in Austin, TX, where she serves as the managing editor of Bat City Review.

Matvei Yankelevich,(Writing, Russia/USA) Matvei Yankelevich is a poet, translator, and a founding editor of Ugly Duckling Presse. His books include Some Worlds for Dr. Vogt, Alpha Donut, and Boris by the Sea. He has published translations of Elena Guro, Daniil Kharms, Osip Mandelstam, Vladimir Mayakovsky, and Alexander Vvedensky, among others. He has been awarded fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York Foundation for the Arts, and the National Endowment for Humanities. He teaches translation and book arts at Columbia University’s School of the Arts.
