Civitella Ranieri invites you to an afternoon DJ session with DJ Rekha from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM on Tuesday, July 11th.
Rekha will dig through their digital crates spinning Bollywood, Bhangra and eclectic global dance floors beats for a tea-time dance party at the Civitella Castle.

DJ Rekha (born Rekha Malhotra) is producer, curator, and educator, and founder Basement Bhangra, one of NYC’s longest-running club nights (1997-2017). They perform in festivals, clubs, and community spaces worldwide and alongside artists such as M.I.A, Ali Sethi and AR Rahman. Their dynamic DJ sets incorporate South Asian Diasporic dance music with ears to a global sound that build inclusive environments of joy. They have been featured on Broadway, NPR, Taste the Nation, Obama’s White House, Celebrate Brooklyn, and Central Park SummerStage, They live in Jackson Heights, Queens, New York.
