This month Jay Deshpande (CRF 2018) started his second (and final) year as a Stegner Fellow in Poetry at Stanford. Three of his poems came out this summer in Two Peach #6. This summer Jay worked with Brooklyn Poets to kick off the Individual Artist Development program and he has a few readings coming up in the Bay Area: On September 19, he’ll be at The Book Smith to help launch John James’s The Milk Hours. On October 4, he will read with Rusty Morrison (CRF 2016) and Trisha Peck for the Studio One Reading Series. And on November 3, you can find him alongside Taneum Bambrick at the Bazaar Writers Salon.
