Christopher Cerrone’s (CRF 2012, Juror) newest piece, “A Body, Moving,” was inspired by a poem by Natalie Diaz (CRF 2015), and was commissioned by the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. The piece is a concerto grosso for brass and orchestra featuring principal trumpet Robert Sullivan and principal tuba Chris Olka. There were three live performances of the piece this weekend, with small audiences, and a live stream will be available on April 30th. Watch it when it’s available here.
