Join Jarrett Earnest (DG 2019) and the art historian, curator and critic Kenneth Silver for a conversation celebrating the publication of “The Young and Evil.” Silver’s writings, among them his landmark “Esprit de Corps: The Art of the Parisian Avant-Garde and the First World War, 1914-1915” and “Modes of Disclosure: The Construction of Gay Identity and the Rise of Pop Art” (both 1992), deeply influenced Earnest’s approach to curating “The Young and Evil,” as well as the accompanying book. The two will discuss the evolution of queer representation and consider strategies for writing, thinking and exhibiting alternative art histories.

Tuesday March 10th, 7pm, The Center, 208 W 13 St New York, NY 10011
