Alejandro Haiek Coll (CRF 2019), who was the first Architecture Fellow at Civitella, has presented the project he created while in residence, entitled Industries of Nature. As a part of the WOJR Affiliated Fellowship, Alejandro was tasked with conceiving and constructing a site-specific temporary installation on the castle grounds using simple means and locally available materials. Alejandro’s project has been featured in e-flux magazine. His project focuses on ecology, post-industrialism, and community reengineering. Click here to read more about the project. Composer Nina Young (CRF 2019) provided musical accompaniment to the project. Watch the video, Unfurling Traditions: A Scenography of Tectonics Immersive Soundscape, here.
