Alper Aydin, Visual Arts, Turkey
Alper Aydın completed his studies in the Sculpture department in the Gazi University Art Education Faculty after completing his degree in Painting at Ordu Anatolian Fine Arts High School. Through an Erasmus exchange program, he studied sculpture, video, and performance in Italy in 2010. He received his graduate degree from the master’s program at Gazi University with his graduate thesis, “Land Art In Turkey” and his PhD in 2019 at the Hacettepe University Sculpture department with the thesis, “The Dialogue Between Body and Nature.”
Eric Nathan, Music, USA
Composer Eric Nathan’s (b. 1983) music has been called “as diverse as it is arresting” (San Francisco Chronicle), and has been commissioned by institutions such as the Boston Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, and Library of Congress. He is a recipient of a 2013 Rome Prize, 2014 Guggenheim Fellowship, and 2022 Goddard Lieberson Fellowship from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. He is currently Composer-in-Residence with the New England Philharmonic, and serves as Associate Professor of Music in composition and theory at Brown University.
