September 10, 2026 — America, Who Hurt You?, a new solo play written and performed by Sarah Jones (CRF 2013), a Tony Award–winning artist, and directed by Eric Ting Sarah Jones (CRF 2013), comes to Theatre for a New Audience in New York City September 10th to 27th.
Inspired by Sarah’s podcast of the same name, the play uses comedy, storytelling, and a cast of characters spanning 250 years of American history to explore the country’s competing narratives, inherited myths, and collective wounds. Through her signature transformations, Jones asks how America came to be what it is—and whether there might be a way forward.
