“Martyr!” by Kaveh Akbar (CRF 2021) and “Creation Lake” by Rachel Kushner (CRF 2016) are long listed for Fiction. “Circle of Hope: A reckoning with Love, Power, and Justice in an American Church ” by Eliza Griswold (CRF 2011) and “Knife: Meditations After an Attempted Murder” by Salman Rushdie (DG 2022) are long listed for Nonfiction. “Spectral Exercise” by Gregory Pardlo (CRF 2019) is long listed for Poetry.
